Product Description
Synthetic Prostaglandin F1 analogue which contains 200 mcg of misoprostol
Mechanism of Action:
Cervical priming pre-instrumentation (before a surgical abortion), Induced abortion (up to 20 weeks), Treatment of incomplete abortion (up to 24 weeks) to stop post-abortion bleeding due to retained products. Treatment of missed abortion (up to 12 weeks) when pregnancy has terminated but no products of conception expelled. Induction of labour in an intra-uterine foetal death, Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) prophylaxis (prevention) and treatment, Gastritis and gastric ulcer disease.
